Description Richard Bos 2003-03-29 13:59:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Why have the start and stop buttons swapped placed in kdm?

I now often select stop (close, don't remember the exact English term)
instead of start. That's because "stop" is not closest to the user icons that are at the left site of the login manager => One select the user by clicking, goes to the first button right and `oops' that's the stop button :((

Please have the buttons replaced like it used to be, that seems at least
more user friendly.

Richard

2 spelling errors :(

....swapped placed in kdm?
should be: swapped places in kdm?

That's because "stop" is not closest....
should be: That's because "stop" is now closest....

complain to suse. they have patched it in their rpms.
btw, the button names in the original version are "go!" and "clear".
