Description Ian Grigg 2003-03-28 19:51:42 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

clicking on spam mail resulted in consistent SIGSEGV.
eventually resolved by selecting a group around that mail
and deleting all of them at once. the mail itself is lost,
but summary is below.

Subject: Re: New: SIGSEGV when click on summary line on Jap hieroglyphic email

Do you probably still have the message which caused the crash in the
Trash folder or in the folder (resp. in the file which holds the
contents of this folder if the folder is in mbox format) it was before
you deleted it?

If not, then we can't do anything about it. The backtrace doesn't
contain a single reference to KMail's code. Therefore tracking down the
bug without the message which caused the crash is impossible.

Okay, I'm closing this bug report for now. Please re-open it if you get
another spam message which triggers the same bug.
