Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Compiler:          gcc 2.95.3 
OS:          Linux

I have kdesdk installed so it uses kompare.

When I click on a file and select "CVS > Diff Against repository"

I get the expected result on the "Diference viewer"

When I execute the same command again, but for some other file,
the "cvs diff" seams to work fine but when it tries to display the output,
 the "Diference viewer" doesn't get updated.

So basicaly the solution is to restart Gideon and try again. :(

in CVS HEAD, you can toggle between Kompare (and any other part that can display 
text/x-diff) and raw output. If you switch from raw output back to Kompare, it will pick up 
the new diff.

I will fix this hopefully before the weekend is over and backport it to the kde 
3.1 branch when it is done. Thanks for the report.

Fixed in CVS (both 3.1 branch and head). Please test this or wait for the next stable release. If 
it is fixed for you let me know and i'll close the report. Again thanks for reporting it.
