Description Ivan Maksymov 2003-03-14 12:25:58 UTC
Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.0.5)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-64GB-SMP

I use the KDevelop 2.1 (using KDE 3.0.5). OS is SuSE 8.0 Professional. I cannot add the exsisting file into my project by using the "Project/Add existing File(s)..." menu. The application does not respond after cliking OK in the dialog "Add exsisting file to project". The both cases of "incert header/cpp-templates to added files" are fatal.

From F@lk Brettschmeider:

Please, someone close this bug. I don't know how to do it in Bugzilla.
The problem is known and already recognized as race condition in kdecore.so.
So you can also redirect the bugreport to kdecore.

Once Waldo Bastian and me thought we have fixed it but unfortunately it was
not. One must have look in KProcess again.

(from Caleb: redirecting to kdelibs folks. They'll probably close it because it's not specific
enough, or ask for a debug printout, but maybe Waldo knows what's going on here.)

This menu isn't in the KDevelop 3.x series and the KDevelop 2.1 series is obsolete.
