Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources When the text for a window's caption is too long to fully display in the titlebar, it would be nice if a tooltip was available that showed the full caption, probably inside a <qt> tag so that it word wraps well. (i.e., the identitcal tooltip that is displayed in the kicker when you hover over the taksbar entry)

It would also be very nice if there were again the option that was in KDE 1.x to scroll the titlebar contents back and forth if the title were too long. This is something I've missed for a loooooooooooooong time.
so, you mouse over the window title, and if the title is too long, it shows a tooltip, but where would you put it (the tooltip) ?
What do you mean? It would follow the same rules as any QTooltip... above the titlebar if possible, if there is not space ( if window is maximized ) below it There is no restriction that tooltips for a particular window have to be rendered inside that window, if that is what you're implying. Just try mousing over a toolbar button at the far right edge of the window, it will extend beyond the window border.
Fixing spelling
