Description Tim Tye 2003-03-05 20:24:06 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.2.2
OS: Linux

After doing a merge on a file that results in confilcts, the resolver is opened on that file. The edit option is used on a conflict and an editor window appears. In the editor window every line of the code is missing the last character. If ok is pressed without noticing this or not correcting all the lines, the truncation gets placed into the working file and potentially saved, corrupting the source file.

Hi Tim,

Please add a testcase file which doesn't work to the bug report #46871.

Thank you,

Christian
