Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package OS: Linux Abstract: I don't like the default fonts in konsole. Instead, each time I start a new terminal window, it should come up in the font I specify (in my case, fixed-11). Expected behavior: * choose (Shift-)RMB -> Settings -> 'Configure Konsole' * Window comes up, choose 'Session' Tab * under 'Font', set it to 'Custom' * Window comes up asking for custom font name and size Behavior in reality: The last step never happens. There is no way to specify what font and size I'd like. So it still starts up with the defaults. Summary: There is no way to specify a custom font that applies to all newly started instances of konsole.
You confuse the session editor with the default settings: Choose your font with "Settings/Fonts/Custom..." and call "Settings/Save Settings" afterwards.
Ok, But Save Settings seems to have no effect. If I open a new window, the fonts come back to the original ones
