Description gerard 2003-02-28 08:48:02 UTC
Version: 1.2 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-16mdk

When I type a line longer than le display width, sometimes it continues at the begenning of the same line instead of changin line.
The line works, but it makes it unreadable.
It is not every time, but this display bug has existed for a long time
Sometimes, when the terminal sends some characters which should be on the same line (like a progress bar), there is a new line for each character.
This problem does not occur every time, but it is also very old.

What shell/application sends the chars?

It's the same that Bug 53418
I see this every day since I started using konsole.... (even on KDE3.1)
