If "show file tips" is active and you move the mouse over a divx file, meta info are correctly shown, but the device that contains the file is locked by konqueror. To eject the device (for example a CD rom) you need before close every instance of konqueror.
This beaviour can happen also with some other multimedia files, so I think the problem is in the metadata reading software for divx files
