Version:           CVS (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
Compiler:          gcc 2.95.3  
OS:          Linux

In Project Options > Run options

There is a checkbox "Start in external terminal"

Once you click it, the program will always start in external terminal,
even if you go there and deselect it.

And the current status is not updated because the UI always stats with this checkbox uncheked.
