Description Oliver Sinnen 2003-02-10 16:42:58 UTC
Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-4GB

Using a custom paper layout that is smaller than A4 still results in a postscript file (when printed to file) that has A4 size

This is especially bad, since it impeds using print-to-file for exporting a chart to eps.

Halo Oliver,

Thank you for your bug report. If possible, could you also check whether the
same problem happens from other application, say from KWord ?

This is a qt or in the end a KDE issue.
QT and therefore KDEPrint doesn't use the user defined settings yet.

Trolls say, this is intended to be implemented in QT 3.2, so we need to wait until it is also
implemented in KDE 3.2.

So I'm changing the status to wish and adjust the topic.

I move it to KOffice module, as it will be also useful information for other
KOffice applications.

Bug owner was never changed despite the move from "kspread" to "koffice."
Comment 5 Nicolas Goutte 2003-09-03 15:55:34 UTC
Unfortunately, if I have not missed anything, QT 3.2 is still lacking what we
need. So we would probably have to make a work around for KOffice 1.4 in the
case that it would stilll not be in Qt4.

Sorry! (I start to dislike that comboboxes takes the focus of the mouse
wheel.)
Comment 7 Jonas Vejlin 2009-07-01 09:56:24 UTC
Is this still valid wish in koffice 2?
Comment 8 Thomas Zander 2011-03-07 17:01:15 UTC
Fixed in Qt4
