Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc 2.95.3 sparc solaris 2.7 OS: Solaris I cannot use ctrl-B in any application, even non-KDE apps. It does not work for konsole, xterm, xemacs, or any other program I tried. I remapped the add bookmark key to A-b to see if that changed anything. It did not. I also added some experimental bookmark patches to remove all traces of ^B from konsole and that didn't work. I think the problem is deeper than that, since ^B does not work for any application. kwin, possibly?

Subject: Re: ctrl-b does not work in any application The problem is not in X, but in kwin. If I kill kwin and run twm then Ctrl B works. -Aaron Stephan Kulow wrote: >------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- >You reported the bug, or are watching the reporter. > >http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54046 > > > > >------- Additional Comments From coolo@kde.org 2003-02-04 13:49 ------- >Subject: Re: New: ctrl-b does not work in any application > >Am Dienstag, 4. Subject: Re: ctrl-b does not work in any application After compiling a debug version of kwin, I see the following when I type Ctrl B: kdecore (KAccel): Workspace::keyPress( Ctrl+B ) It looks like somehow kwin is capturing all Ctrl B key presses. I cannot find where it is getting assigned. -Aaron Aaron Williams wrote: >------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- >You reported the bug, or are watching the reporter. > >http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54046 > > > > >------- Additional Comments From aaron_williams@net.com 2003-02-05 03:36 ------- >Subject: Re: ctrl-b does not work in any application > >The problem is not in X, but in kwin.
