Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: FreeBSD Ports Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD] OS: FreeBSD When KOrganizer copies data to/from the remote location, the status windows gets the focus, stealing it from whatever application you were using. This can be very anoying as you might hit ENTER and cancel the save or things like that. Just in case: I'm talking about autosave. I wish the status window could appear minimized, or in any other form so it doesn't get the focus (or covers part of the current window). Thanks!
Not FreeBSD specific.
If you use KDE ;-) then in the settings for the remote upload window (advanced), set "keep below others" and "save window settings". That way it won't steal focus in the future. That said, I think it'd be better to show upload/dl info in a status bar. But I guess this is tributed to using standard KDE functionality. Maybe there could be a parameter for the file operation stating if focus should be grabbed or not? Or a way to include the upload window in the main KOrganizer window? greets
