Description Fernando Schapachnik 2003-02-03 18:31:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD]
OS: FreeBSD

Running at 1024x768 I would like to have konsole fonts as big as
Huge at 800x600, otherwise, terminal look so small to me.

Thanks!

What's wrong with "Settings/Fonts/Custom..." and selecting a HUGE font size?

You can't get the same typeface. All the available fonts have shapes that don't
look right for terminal emulation or they get "pixelated".

Regards!

Not FreeBSD specific (and Fernando, I'd suggest you try X 4.3 and set konsole to use one of the scalable terminal fonts (regular, Bitstream, or Dec). Those can go up to 28pt or so before going pixely; Lucida Typewriter is indeed not the same font, but goes to 64pt or so - which gets you a 55x16 konsole full-screen.).

I suggest closing this wish as invalid. All the fonts used by Konsole are available through Custom... option, if a font is not available at big enough sizes then all one can do is find (or make) another font. (or use lower resolution).

Please do, is not really that important anyway,
