Installed from:     (3.0)
Compiler:          gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-bf2.4

Saving images attached to post with RMB->"Save image".. open a file dialog but the filename (at first time save) frequently in unreadable and without file extention. On second tentative with RMB->"Save image", the filename is correct. This appen always.. first not, second ok.

Hi,  I can't reproduce your problem.  Do use the "Save Attachment" menu entry (knode has no "save image" function)? What happens if you use the "Save" entry from the file menu, that saves the whole article? Can you name some example articles (message-id), that show your problem?
