Description Pascal Cavy 2003-01-25 15:32:27 UTC
Version: inconnu (using KDE 3.1.0 (RC6))
Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.1-2mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-2mdkenterprise

since rc6 it seems that in konqueror browser forms the input cursor focus follows the mouse by default AND despite windows behaviour focus policy is set to 'focus on click'

Just go to a website having several input text fields, then ;

1. clic on a text field, the input cursor is put there ok

2. now, move the mouse over another text field, without clicking => the input cursor goes to whatever text field is hovered bu the mouse cursor

This is VERY annoying since it is not unusual for the mouse to get moved out of the text field while entering some date with the keyboard => you lose input date if u don't look at the screen

Either default behaviour should be kept as it was prior to kde 3.1rc6 (click to get input cursor focus)

OR an option to control this behaviour should be implemented somewhere.

(keep the nice work ;)
