Version:           kmail 1.4.3 (using KDE KDE 3.0.5)
Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
OS:          Linux

At unpredictable moments, Kmail 1.4.3 under KDE 3.0.5a (Mandrake Linux 9.0, regularly updated on line via Mandrake Updater) complains that it cannot reach the pop3-server at my provider, and suggests that my password is wrong. However, the p/w is ok.The same error msg says: "mailbox locked by other server"This happens when downloading mail by hand (CTRL-L).Sometimes, but not always, this occurrs after I toggle on/off Network->Receive->Leave mail on server in the settings.After about five minuties, kmail is fetching mail automatically again. This happens to be the control interval time I instructed in the settings.

Additional remark: this is possibly a variant of bugreport 51362, although the 
error msg differs.

Are you still seeing this with kmail 1.5.2?

Bug not found in next releases.
