Description Bart Verwilst 2003-01-17 17:44:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 3.2.1
OS: Linux

When i try to login to my account section on my ISP's helpdesk page ( http://helpdesk.telenet.be => "accountbeheer" => "email en webruimte" => "Inloggen met hoofd-account" for example), i enter my ID and password, click "login", i get an error page which says "Method Not Allowed

The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /index.html."

This _only_ happens in konqueror, i can open the page fine with IE, Mozilla, ...

PS: same thing here: http://telemeter.telenet.be

Thanks!

Same problem for http://www.weckruf.de - you can't log in anymore (warning: german
langauage)

Interesting effect for http://slashdot.org: When you try to log in and have cookies disabled, but
an exception for slashdot, the Method Not Allowed error appears. However, if you have "ask for
each cookie" set, then slashdot will let you log in. So there's a possible relation to bug 51521.
However, setting the cookie policy to "ask" doesn't solve the problem for weckruf.de (which
doesn't seem to use cookies at all).

Apparently, this is fixed in kde 3.1.1 (I suspect this was a javascript bug after having looked at
some html code). Anyway, this bug can be closed as far as I'm concerned.
