Description Micha Glave 2003-01-13 11:48:37 UTC
Version: 2.2.0 (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

noatun crashes when opening a remote mp3-file... (using "open" dialog in the rmb menu)

noatun and the list standard playlist-plugin seems to not to use the kio-part system konqueror offers.
In the open dialogs it is possible to open directories on remote-maschines via ftp:// or fish:// ... The playlist can't play those queued files...

Wish:
Using the kiopart should imho offer a wide area of filesystems to use with noatun, maybe someone will rework that?

Does this crash still exist in KDE 3.1.1?
Comment 2 Micha Glave 2003-03-27 08:27:44 UTC
Ok, the crash is handled, a warning window appears. = fixed!

What a about the wish? Can noatun use the kio-part system? It would be very helpfull not to be
forced to copy all files to the local machine.

ok, the crash is fixed. I can live without the kio-bility of noatun.
