Description Arwed Starke 2003-01-11 11:59:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.3)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: gcc 2.9.6 RedHat 7.3 updated
OS: Linux

i encountered this problem with web site displaying on 2 well-known sites:

www.nvidia.com
www.ghettotech.de

on nvidia.com, the menu on top is torn apart, because of the menus that pop up under these buttons. the width of these menus is exactly the space konqueror leaves between the buttons. this behaviour is wrong - normally, there is no space between the buttons on the top navigation bar of nvidia.com.

on ghettotech.de, you see those yellow headlines like "News Flash". By design, they are ABOVE the text fields (afaik with a z-index), with konqueror, they are BELOW them.

i encountered another problem, visible also on www.nvidia.com.
The Pop-up Menus (probably layers?) should be on top of the input field below,
but they're under the input field. looks rather ugly and you can't click some
menu entries.

btw., Mozilla does everything this bug report relates to right.
