Description yann 2003-01-07 10:06:07 UTC
Version: 1.1.3 (using KDE KDE 3.0.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

For the "Terminal" session, the variable TERM should be set to "linux" by default not "xterm", otherwise keys "Home" and "End" do not work.

(keyboard "azerty", France).
(Version 3.0.5a installed from Debian package from http://download.uk.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/Debian/woody/.)

Thanks,
Yann

Wasn't that a bug of the bash deb? Try to update this to the newest version.
Anyway has to be fixed in Debian packages.

??
That has nothing to do with Bash.
Konsole works OK once the variable is properly fixed.
And it seems to be Debian specific, as Konsole worked OK with SuSE (but it was
another version of KDE, so I am not sure).

Then report it to the Debian packages maintainers. :-)
