Installed from:    compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.20

maybe its because i use a kdevprj2kdevelop generated project files, but i cant execute neither debug my application. 
gideon try to execute the working dir it self.

i should probably report another bug for this, but gideon also crash when i click on Project->Project Options

The Project->Options bug has been fixed in CVS and Alpha3 - look for the 
download very soon. 
 
The first bug is configurable in the Project->Options menu.
