Version:           1.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.0.5)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:          Linux

Grid lines from inserted kspread object are still visible and printed, even in page layout they are de-selected.
In Kword I selected insert Object.
Then I select Kspread and New Worksheet
In page layout I deselect print grid lines, but the lines are not
de-selected. This problem happens only when I have inserted a new
worksheet.
It does not happen when I create a worksheet first and save this worksheet in  kspread first as a kspread document. Unfortunately this
is not an option for me. 
This was working in previous versions of kword, before 1.2.

As it seems to be a problem involving 2 KOffice application, let's move this bug to KOffice/General.

This is no longer true.  I saw that when I fixed bug 68977.
