Description Susanne Oberhauser 2002-12-13 15:48:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

in a <textarea> I'd like to hit my right mouse button to see an item...

  Edit with external editor C+e
(or whatever you prefer as long as I don't need to hold down meta, shift and compose in addition to reach it ;)

...which will then save the text area to some temporary file, fire up KDE_EDITOR (might be ="xterm -e vi") or if that's unset plain vanillia EDITOR (might be ="gnuclient" or ="gvim"), wait 'til that process has returned and relaod the temporary file back into the textarea.

in an ideal world, the textarea turns red meanwhile, giving some reasonable explication what's going on.

I'd very much appreciate such a feature for Xmas ;)
