Description Giovanni Venturi 2002-12-05 17:00:41 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB

I used KMail 1.4.3 on KDE 3.0.4 and when I want to send a message to a mailing list I go on to the foleder where KMail download may email (I setted that this folder contains a mailing list) and when I click on KMail's "new message" icon, than it fills the field to: with the email address of the mailing list (I specifyed it in the folder parameters) now with KMail 1.5 on KDE 3.1.0 this does not happen. Why? It was a function so usefull.

This was removed because it often lead to sending emails to unwanted address. You can
now use "Reply To Mailing-list" to achieve the same function.

Simply replace the "New message" icon in the toolbar with the "New message to mailing-list"
icon to get the old behavior back. Ladislav already explained why this was changed.
