Version:           1.5 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from:    compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-rc1

In KMail the popup window for new mail notification does not pop up.
That is the case for both manual and interval checking.
Around rc2 it used to work.

I can't confirm this, it works here. What did you activate in the notification-dialog?

I activated just the popup-window. 
 
On one machine it works, too. On the other it doesn't. Does it depend on any daemon 
or is kmail doing it by itself? 
I always copy /opt/kde31 from one machine to the other and it used to work, now I 
don't know what the second machine is missing. 
 
I close the bug then, because it is a problem on my part.
