Description Ed O'Loughlin 2002-11-22 11:10:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 2.95.3-r7
OS: Linux

I just installed kde 3.0.4 (prevoiusly 3.0.3), which also upgraded to qt 3.1.0 (using Gentoo).

I had konsole as part of my saved session when I logged out of 3.0.3 and back in to 3.0.4.

Konsole now starts automatically when I log in (3.0.3 and 3.0.4) but I can't start a new one. I'm not using a transparent background. I can't start it from the command line (xterm), menu etc.

Here's the stack trace:

The bug wizard seems to have lost the konsole version. It's 1.1.3

Unfortunatly Qt 3.1 doesn't work together with KDE 3.0.4. Either stay with
qt 3.0.x or use a KDE 3.1 RC
