Version: 4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.0.99) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.17-P4-4GB This problem is _not_ speciific to the konsole but applies to _all_ windows in KDE 3.1rc3 (including non-KDE apps such as xterm). Its a problem of the window management. 1. On any window, click on the left top corner button. The expected result is a menu showing the set of window management options (move, resize, maximize, minimize ...). The menu appears but disappears the moment u try to select one of the menu items. Now try again, this time the menu stays. Basically, it always vanishes the first time and then stays the 2nd time, then vanishes the 3rd time, then stays the 4th time and so on. In other words, u always need to make two attempts. 2. On any window, press alt-f3. The window management menu pops up. But when u try to select a menu item, the menu vanishes. This happens always. These are new bugs not seen before. I am using a suse 7.3 system.
These are new bugs since when? And I cannot reproduce the problem with my build. Please provide more info, e.g. which decorations do you use or what focus policy.
