Description murray 2002-11-11 01:28:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.9)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc-2.95
OS: Linux

When working in the message list window, view and deleting messages, sometimes the highlighted bar will fail to move from an entry (recently deleted entry perhaps) but I can see different previews by selecting other messages with the mouse (but the highlight bar will not move to the clicked message.) If I exit kmail and restart things work correctly.

Most likely this is due to a bug in the Qt libraries which was fixed a
few days ago. You should update and recompile qt-copy. If this doesn't
fix the bug then please reopen the bug report.

Upgrading QT helped to solve the problem!
(btw I: I miss a remark in the release notes for kde3.1 rc5. I am pretty sure that
there are still some people out there with old qt-libs
btw II: It ist pretty hard to do beta testing without binaries as it takes about 2
days for me to compile everything from the scratch [PIII-850/128MB/Notebook HD
and daily work besides compiling].)
