Description automailer 2002-11-09 01:31:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)

IMHO this is a user interface lapsus:

In case a hotsync fails for any reason KPilotDaemon will stall and stay busy forever.

The easy solution is to killall KpilotDaemon and restart it.

However opening up a console and entering a command is not what a Desktop user (for German readers read DAU) wants to do...

It should really be possible to right click on kpilotDaemon during Hotsync and reset. After one of those nice "Warning you might loose Data" windows....

Cheers,
Thorsten

The current version no longer stays busy, but will time out sooner or later. It will then
be ready for a sync again, so this bug seems to be fixed.
Also, it might be seen as a duplicate of bug 49597 (a sync does not detect if the
connection broke).

Oops, got wrong bug number for duplicate (should have been 49697)
