Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk) 
OS:          Linux

In gideon, it's not possible to change the background color

This is a qeditor missing feature, but kate has the feature.
