Description Saurabh Nanda 2002-10-22 22:51:32 UTC
Version: 3.0 (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.2
OS: Linux

Open KAddressBook.
Open the Distribution list dialog.
Now *create* a new contact in the main KAddressBook window.
This newly created contact is not reflected in the open Distribution List dialog window.
Close the Distribution List dialog window.
Open it again. Still the new contact is not there.
Now restart KAddressBook.and everything works fine.

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
