Description ubq7 2002-10-13 17:14:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Very simple (Why does this website has not KDE3.0.4?):

I maximize konsole and have my toolbar (set to small without text) at the bottom edge of the konsole window. But now it does not display all characters (set to medium size) completely anymore. Letters above ground line are alright, letters that go below it like 'g' or 'y' are cut off the visible. Maybe there is something miscalculated because this was not the case in KDE2.2.2.

Is this still a problem with KDE 3.1?

No answer. Old version.

Just installed current KDE3.1.1a (debian) from download.kde.org and it is definitely not
fixed. I press 'Enter' until it is at the last line, then input some 'g' without pressing enter
and now I try to make console behave wrong:
Result: I _can_ make the window smaller so that the lowest few pixel of the 'g' is not
displayed anymore.

Good thing: it does not do it by itself anymore

I run with the following fonts (from control center):
Fixed Width: Fixed [Misc] 11
Else: Tahoma

XFree86-4.2.1 (Debian testing)

With current HEAD you can only cover the rim with windows border while chars stay
fully visible.

I do not see this bug with KDE-3.2.2 anymore
Thanks...
