Version: 3.0.2+ (using KDE KDE 3.0.2) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc 2.95.3 Sparc Solaris 2.7 OS: Solaris With a number of our applications we use a large history (i.e. 10,000 lines or more). When clearing the history or closing a session in a multi-session konsole it can take a long time (many seconds) for konsole to clear the history. In the meantime, konsole is completely unresponsive until this operation completes. It would be nice if this operation could be sped up or forked into the background. If a session must be blocked, only block the session where the history is being cleared and allow the user to switch to other consoles.
It looks like this is fixed in 3.1rc6. I am no longer seeing the problem.
