Version: 1.4.7 (using KDE 3.0.8 (KDE 3.1 beta2)) Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.2.18 kmail doesn't show any folder-name in the folder-subwindow, only a '-' is shown. The names *are* shown in the title of the kmail-window. Don't know if it isimportant: On the first start kmail informed me, that there was no index of the folder "spamblock", which is correct, because this folder is filled by procmail with all the spam I receive.
The folder-names are in fact shown, but the column for names has a width of ~ 0, so you can't read them! What is shown is solely the number of unread messages; this column has a reasonable width. This is at least annoying and unexpected behaviour.
Subject: Re: kmail doesn't show folder names Did the column with the number of unread messages take up the whole space of the folder view? Could you please provide a small screenshot which shows how the folder view looked like? Thanks in advance! Regards, Ingo

Learned to do it with ksnapshot. Look at the attachment. Also note the tip-window, which has a rather unusable width (maybe 1600 pixels?). Should I file another bug-report? Created an attachment (id=148) Bildschirmphoto1.png
don't know if it's related, but yesterday I started kmail with KDEHOME=$HOME/.kde-doesntexist and kmail showed the same - for my folders.

Subject: Re: New: kmail doesn't show folder names Fixed in cvs for KDE 3.1. The folder pane now is much wider by default.
