Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.0.3)
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 
OS:          Linux

kdebase 3.0.3 on make install gives me:
libtool: link: `runapplet.lo' is not a valid libtool object

libtool version is:
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.4.2 (1.922.2.53 2001/09/11 03:18:52)

kernel is 2.4.19.  QT-3.0.4 is install as well as arts and kdelibs.

Distro is Slackware 8.

Remove it and compile again, this happens sometimes
