Description Daniel Lynes 2002-09-24 05:01:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

I would like to see the ability to be able to actually perform file compression on mail folders, rather than the space compression which I assume is currently being done on them.

Also, another desirable feature would be to archive mail folders as another user suggested. However, my suggestion would be to follow the standard that PINE already uses. It's a good method, it works, it's straight forward, and it's probably what most people would want, anyways.

Replaced dlynes@shaw.ca with null@kde.org due to bounces by reporter

Bzip2 would be slow to decompress. Gzip might be a better idea.

bug #79357 and #95611 are duplicates of this bug. bug #79357 seems to have received the most feedback. wow this is a long term wish it seems. ;)
