SUMMARY
Kate fails to privilege escalate when saving files under /etc

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. kate /etc/somefile
2. File->Save
3. Type password, press enter

OBSERVED RESULT
Prompt about unable to save

EXPECTED RESULT
File saved

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch testing with kde-unstable repo
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.92.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.248.0
Qt Version: 6.7.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It has been failing the last few months or so. I know that it worked in Plasma 5, I've been editing system configs this way for ages. For now I have to sudo vim from a console.
