(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konsole
Version: 1.1.3 (using KDE 3.0.3 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: (3.0)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-686
OS/Compiler notes:

Can not see logged user in konsole via commands wwho or finger. When i type in the finger command it gives the message "No one logged on." These commands work fine in xterm or standart console.

Konsole requires utempter for this which Debian policy forbids.
Native support is a wish not a bug.
Comment 2 Kurt Hindenburg 2004-12-28 05:01:53 UTC
Is this still a valid wish? I have utemper installed so I can't see easily...
Comment 3 Robert Knight 2006-08-02 20:50:29 UTC
Works fine here (Konsole for KDE 3.x / 4.x). Please reopen if there is still a problem.
