(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konsole Version: KDE 3.0.3 Severity: normal Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: using Debian packages maintained by calc I have 2 monitors connected to 2 video cards - a gf2 and an ati aiw pro. Konsole's transparency works fine on the gf2 card but on the ati one if I try enabling transparency the background remains black. transparency works fine in xchat Eterm etc. on that monitor. Version: KDE 3.0.3 Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Using Debian packages maintained by calc Addition to this.. running a new konsole and resizing it and stuff a bit I ended up with this: http://www.lammah.com/~lerris/snap.jpg green/grey lines running across the top the square box split into 4 quadrants in the middle etc. these don't seem to be restricted to those areas either - on another konsole session there are boxes like that all over the place. Likely a KRootPixmap<->xinerama problem.
Subject: Re: konsole lacking transparency on 2nd monitor Looks like this works now for some reason. :-) Strange..
