Thank you for your bug report. The bug that you reported has been identified and has been fixed in the latest development (CVS) version of KDE. The bug report will be closed.
on kde 3.5.6 (and kde 3.5.5 and may be kde 3.5.4), when i run reset in konsole, the window is grown by about 2 lines in vertical size. and as i found that bug, i discovered too that the column is set to 80 columns too. so the bug must be reopened because it reapppears since kde 3.5.4 or kde 3.5.5
