In my mind it would be a really nice feature for KMail to do an *Office like live spellchecking while typing Emails.

This feature has proven useful in most Office Applications probably because it simply makes typing easier.

I know this is not something that should be done within Kmail but maybe once KOffice offers support either kmail could embed KWord as Email editor or it could be ported to the more lightweight editor KMail uses for sake of speed.

This should be marked a duplicate of Bug 48027 since Bug 48027 discusses a 
broader solution...
