Description lenar 2002-07-04 09:48:49 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kjs
Version: KDE 3.0.2
Severity: normal
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Just go to www.thekompany.com.
Every time you reload that page konq memory usage (rss) increases by 1-2 MB.
Memory doesn't get freed until you close browser.
When you disable javascript everything is working just fine.
I've seen konqueror using up to 100MB of memory (pam limits kick in there) after long browsing when javascript is enabled.

I can confirm this to be a problem also in KDE 3.0.3

Refcounting problem.
konqueror: [void KHTMLPart::clear ()] doc=0x82532f8 after clear and before deref: 22
Needs further debugging.

fixed for KDE 3.1
