Description ssc 2002-06-29 12:08:33 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcmscreensaver
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.0.1 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.16-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

Hi there

I'm running kde on a notebook which is configured to suspend/standby on closing LCD display.

For security reason it will be great if the "lock screen" will start automatically after wake up/resume --- like it is on Windows 2000.

It would be nice to have it ;-)

You might be able to use dcop to do this if resuming is considered an ACPI
event, otherwise I don't think it's implementable.
