The translucent option only shows the background image not what is under the Konsole window. Consequently translucency looks weird when the window is overlapping another window.

XFree doesn't support real transluency yet. Duplicate to #35565.

Why not use the same traslucent function of the menus ?

Because it's only a copy of the previous state and doesn't show changed/moved 
content/windows beneath.
