This bug is a showstopper for NewWorld Macs that have no direct connection from CD drive to sound card.

Seems like KsCD of KDE 3.3 alpha1 should be restarted to take action in the change of digital/analog play, but it doesn't warn the user to restart it.
yesterday, Juli 03 2004, i have commited a patch, that resolves this for me. It was wrong handling with Prefs::. If nobody blame me within one week, I will close this bug.
