(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: 1.4 (using KDE 3.0.1 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Not Specified OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified I'd like to sort mails by a email-header which is not displayed as a column (numerically btw - so 1.5 is lower than 11.2). A possible way to do this would be a) having extended sorting possibilities via a menu b) allowing to define arbitrary headers to be displayed as columns (currently only thing to choose is if the size is displayed) c) extend the "rewrite header" so that the text which gets written is taken from another header. I'd prefer b) possibly with an extension to use numerically sorting. I don't want to use external programs to rewrite the header as this is very time-consuming. Thanks a lot for the good mail-client! Still can't use *any* header line as columns as of kmail 3.2.2-2 (debian).
Related: bug 39782.

Philipp, were you after sorting Spam Assassin (or another spam analyzer) score? If so, perhaps you want to Cc: yourself into bug 84893 which is a wish for that.
