(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: KDE 3.0.1 Severity: normal Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: GCC 2.96 OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified When replying to an e-mail message in which some text has been selected only the selected text is quoted in the reply window. This behaviour also occurs with the "Reply All" and "Reply List" actions but not when the message is forwarded. I would have expected the text selection to be ignored when replying to an e-mail message. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
Closing bug request #44106 since the described 'bug' was exactly what things *should* be like: Replying to a mail _shall_ quote only the seleccted text if selection exists. --=20 Karl-Heinz Zimmer Senior Software Engineer Klaraelvdalens Datakonsult AB <mailto:khz@klaralvdalens-datakonsult.se> <mailto:khz@kde.org>
