SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Firefox...
2. Save a file choose the "tree view"
3. Close the save-file-dialog
4. Open save-file-dialog again


OBSERVED RESULT

Open dialog again and it defaults to the default view


EXPECTED RESULT

Retain setting

Yes, this is partially fixed. The viewing options like tree view are now retained, the the visual preview setting is not. That happens on native apps using the file picker as well.

Moving to KIO since this happens outside sandboxes too.
