Description Rolf Magnus 2002-06-13 18:35:28 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konsole
Version: 1.2 Preview (using KDE 3.0.5 (CVS HEAD >= 20020427))
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.17ea
OS/Compiler notes:

I don't want too high contrast (because the monitor picture gets a bit fuzzy then) in my konsole especially bright white on black background. So I set my background to something quite dark but not totally black (#222222 currently). The problem is that text that is supposed to be bright white like some "highlighted" keywords in man pages are black instead and thus unreadable on the dark background.

This is not a konsole problem, is it? Does it work in e.g. xterm with the same
background color? xterm -bg

No problem with KDE 3.1.1
